Charlotte Bellis

I was brought up amidst the stunning scenery of Snowdonia, in North Wales. After graduating with honours from Cumbria Institute of Arts in 2006, with a degree in Contemporary Applied Arts, I returned there to set up my studio.

My specialties are unique porcelain pendencies and watercolour, acrylic and various mixed media paintings which are inspired by the natural world, plants and organic forms.

Following my degree exhibition my porcelain pendencies were featured in the international publication, Ceramic Review.

I have recently had my first solo exhibition, which featured my porcelain pendencies and a series of tropical flower paintings. It was a great success and lead to a commission to design the trophy for the 2008 Llanberis International Mountain Film Festival.
